The Female Persuasion

A shy college freshman, Greer Kadetsky, finds her perspectives transformed by a mentor activist who is at the center of the women’s movement. This challenges Greer to discover herself in ways that take her far from the traditional life she ~envisioned at the side of her boyfriend.

~ Meg Wolitzer grew up in Syosset and is a member of the MFA faculty at Stony Brook University. She has written 12 works of literary fiction.
~ The Female Persuasion is a New York Times bestselling book and Meg Wolitzer is the New York Times-bestselling author of The Interestings, The Uncoupling, The Ten-Year Nap, The Position, The Wife, and Sleepwalking.
~ This work of literary fiction is both timely and important and will engage readers as well as spark discussion.

The author will speak at 2:00 pm on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts.
Seating is first come, first served. The event is free and open to all.

The author will speak at 2:00 pm on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts.
This event is now sold out. There will be a standby line at the theatre for those without tickets as there will likely be cancellations. No guarantees.
